NB this was a pretty muffled recording with rather a lot of natural reverb from the auditorium, and unfortunately a pretty indistinct bass. After transferring to wavelab, I used the Waves S1-Shuffler very slightly to increase the stereo field (it moves the ambience and audience noise mainly away from centre either side - giving the band's sound more room to "breathe" in the centre of the stereo spectrum). I also used Waves LinMB and L2 to boost the signal and very mildly compress the bottom end to get rid of some of the boom. There is the occasional fizz that may be diginoise or may be static from the PA, however it's very low, very infrequent, and not particularly noticeable unless you're really listening for it.
