tech notes:
"Axilla" and the beginning of "Foam" were missing from the DAT.
Also, the very beginning of "Chalk Dust Torture" was missing,
and there were various spots of digi-noise during "Chalk Dust" as well.

These portions were spliced in with the following source:
AKG 451 > ? > Sony D3
http://db.etree.org/shn/20850
As noted in the AKG db.etree.org entry, there are some distortion issues during "Axilla".
The AKG patch source was also de-emphasized, because it had clearly been recorded with pre-emphasis.

The AKG patch source was used for the following portions:
Axilla - all
Foam - [00:00] to [02:22]
Chalk Dust Torture:
[00:00] to [00:37]
[01:16] to [02:42]
[03:17] to [03:28]

in the original torrent comments (from Oct 9, 2007), someone had asked about the taper of this show. The question and response from the original comments is reproduced below:

"didn't eliot byron record this one?"

well, on Dave's tapes, he had written that this one was taped by Eliot. However, when I spoke with Eliot last week, he told me this great story about how he had been running NAK 300's, and then bought his schoeps gear on 2/5/93 and ran it that night at Roseland. I then asked him about this show, because I had Dave's clone and it was labeled "taped by Eliot Byron". Eliot told me that it wasn't his tape, and he doesn't think he was at this show, as he didn't have any DAT of this show in his collection... So, I removed the "Taped by Eliot Byron" line and seeded it as is. Dave doesn't know anything more about this tape, and the taper remains unknown.
