This source requires correction as it has been discovered that the 2 channels are 180 degrees out of phase. We believe that this is attributable to a wiring problem to one (or possibly more, but not all, as at least one pair is "good") of the XLRs connections in the new patchbay. One may correct the problem by inverting one of the channels (you must be consistent on which channel you invert for all .wav files) in each and every .wav file before burning them to disc.
Corrected .shn files will eventually be put into circulation and a new comment added to this SHN. Hopefully the cause behind the problem will be corrected soon but meanwhile all sources from XLRs of the new patchbay (beginning late Nov. 2002) should be treated as suspect unless it is confirmed that all is in phase.
