They were video taping, apparently for a DVD release. This will be sweet when it comes out.

Actually, I find this show really fatiguing to listen to in headphones, almost sounds like the channels are inverted or something. Does anyone know what mic configuration was used, or if another source is floating around?

the sound was terrible that night and these tapes reflect it IMO. I wasn't going to patch at all because there really wasn't much there in the way of great. (at all)
Finally Geoff showed up with some Schoeps. YOu really HAD to be FOB to make a decent tape and I don't think anybody was. I taped YMSB there a week later and the sound was exponentially better. I really don't know why it sucked so bad. I tranferred this though just for the Moti Mo with the horns. It was an incredible moment...
the mic config was pretty much pointed at stacks if i can remember corectly. i don't think it was ortf. I really attibute the pour sound to the sound pressure by they time it was hitting the ts.

Perhaps the horns, perhaps too much rule #5. I still think it's a damn good show.

The sound on this show is not up to par (imo)... Hopefully another source will be available.

Just curious if another source ever popped up for this or if anyone knew anything about the status of a potential release.

Minor maintenance to setlist (updates, segues, typos, track times, etc.)
