notes~
I had never recorded from so close to the stage. I was
in the 3rd wave of people directly in front of Tweedy.
Obviously not a great spot to record, but I wanted to be down in the action
that night and saw a pair of mics behind me covering the action from the balcony. This recording is what you might expect from a pair of Neumanns in the
pit of the 9:30 club. I was in front of the PA so the vocals are a little weak.
I got a lot of guitar from the stage and, of course, a very excited crowd around me.The only problem spot was during "Kingpin" - I was running my levels "hot" when JT had the crowd scream several times... cooked. Enjoy.
