Not very good

Not sure who "Brian" is (the anonymous bad comment), I've given some SHN's less then positive reviews but always make sure not to be anonymous.

ANYWAYS, this is a good (great) version. I'm a taper, and would be happy if I came home from a show with this recording. I've heard 3 different sources (this one, C-603/KA500's, and one other) and this one sounds the best musically. It's crisp, clear, and has good "staging" of
the instruments.

Now, it's an FOB, so there is some minor clapping, a hoot or two, and an occasional voice, but nothing that made me not want to listen to this source again. For those who aren't familiar with FOB taping it's a touch situation to tape in, hats of for those who do it. . .I'll be in the tapers section ;).

I think this show sounds pretty bad for a FOB. I don't have it in my collection, but that is only because I listened to the first couple of tracks and thought it sounded distant with low vocals. The other reason I dont like this seed is because the track names are a far cry from the etree naming standards (very confusing). BTW, I dont care if someone doesnt leave their email address for a comment. As long as they give me some idea of how the seed sounds, the more opinions the better.

Making anonymous comments is a protected etree right, and was recently upheld in the case of kkaye v. appalled.

I agree that it does take a few tracks to get everthing tuned in but it does get better. I always listen to the middle/end first (espically with Grateful Dead recordings). Also the 20th sounds better then the 21st IMHO.

Maybe I should have elaborated as to why this seed is not so good. First let me say that I was a taper for ten years so i know all about taping FOB. This seed just lacks clarity to my ears, especially the bass. Everything else I would rate is OK at best. Your better off buying the OTR for this show. Ive heard both and the OTR smokes this FOB.
