I received the following from Jerry before he passed on
RIP Jerry!!!!:

Deck would be Sony 153, mikes (probably) AKG D200E's, though I might have been using the Sony ECM 33P's (I did not keep good track of that). Was recorded on a Maxell UD XL cassette (pretty much the same formulation they later called XL I when they introduced XL II) and was done with Dolby B.

Was at the Wollman Rink in Central Park, Schaeffer Music Festival. Recorded in the right/center section, right off the aisle, and about 6 to 8 rows out from the stage - same location I always recorded from at Wollman Rink. Would get there early, and never had any trouble getting those same seats. Center section down front was reserved for press, and the left section was closer to the gate and had more traffic. Right center section was a longer sprint, but more peaceful and well worth the run.
