Recorded by MO', transfer by Joe P. (taperjoe)
Disc 1:
1. Big Legged Woman
2. Criminal
3. Shiloh
4. I've Been Abused
5. How Long?
6. Azul Ezell (tape flip in middle of song)
Disc 2:
1. My Way Down
2. Cleopatra
3. Are You Experienced?
4. (encore break & band intros)
5. Monkey Food
6. Catfish Blues (cut at 4:26 - end of tape)
Here's an uncirculated Duarte recording from a little venue in the western suburbs of Chicago. My friend MO was the soundman for this show & recorded it at my request. I hit him up for the tape, & here we have it right from the master! Thanks, MO, for keeping it in good storage!
The mix on the tape is a bit erratic, with various level changes & adjustments in the first two songs. Eventually the mix sets in & is quite good, though it does retain qualities of a small-room board tape (loud drums & vocals, lower-than-usual guitar).
The cut at the end of Catfish Blues is nothing short of brutal. Chris switches on the Marshall, plays a couple licks, enters full-on Hendrix mode, then the tape ends. Evil!
