Free concert, outdoors in downtown St. Louis. Grace Potter & The Nocturnals opened. This was part of the Celebrate St. Louis annual concert series. This is usually held "On The Levee" where the band plays on a stage next to the Mississippi River and the crowd fills the street and the stairs leading up to the famous St. Louis Arch. Due to flooding, this year's event was moved to Soldier's Memorial park, a mile or so west of the river, and is being called"Live OFF the Levee". The music was followed by an excellent fireworks display.
