There are two audience tapes from this night, this one, taped by H. Sekerdiek and another one taped by the infamous "Dr. Music" aka Nagrom Records (as he was known in Hamburg trading circles in the 80ties and early 90ties).
I don«t know which is the one officially circulating among collectors as given on crowesbase.com, but anyway, this is the better sounding recording (it has a bit more audience sounds as well and serves better to the incredible atmosphere during this show) and this transfer is most likely an upgrade compared to the other circulating copies.
I transferred this from the master cassette in 2000.
The most rock«n«roll show I have ever been to! When the band played in Hamburg the next year in 1992, Chris asked the audience if anyone remembered this show and that it was fucking crazy.
True.
