I'm assuming that this version was seeded PRIOR to the superior 12/31/01 upload of this show and this ".txt" file is just now making it onto db.etree. If it was uploaded after 12/31/01 then I would like to remind "unknown seeder" and all other rogue seeders with generic lineage and useless info files of the guidelines set forth in the etree.org seeding FAQ. Number 1 reads as follows: "Is this the the best possible source?" Of which, in this case clearly, a resounding "No" can heard echoing out on space and time. C'mon people.

I will second Workin' Tryin's motion. Personally, I'm glad someone has voiced their displeasure at this disturbing trend. Obviously, whomever seeded this show either doesn't know about the seeding FAQ, or is just plain ignorant. And i'd imagine Workin' Tryin' didn't put his name and social security number up for the same reason you didn't.

I have this shn. The reason it is listed in the md5 database is because it was circulating on ftp servers in the form shown here. The purpose for listing it in etree is to allow comments to be made about the sound quality and to compare it against other seeds. Without listing the md5's, it is difficult to distinguish which seed one is discussing. I think there is an advantage to listing these "circulating" shns, even though the info file/lineage may be suspect simply to remove ambiguity about what shn one has.

In the earliest days of my maintaining the shns in circ listing, my thinking was, "Why list crap?" My thinking rapidly evolved to, "Because it's just as useful to do so", for the alert potential.

Interesting to see my comments deleted, but I am not scared to credit my words to my account.

Cmon workin/trying and appalled, let's see your balls.

Lastly, while the points made are valid, I simply detest people who will bash folks with a fake name.
