Wonderful day! Rainbow in the sky after the rain before the show was beautiful! Just a great show and a great time!

Traffic was a mess getting there... There is very little parking at the venue so we had to pay $20 to park down the street. Missed part of Wilson. Security inside the venue was nuts... People kept climbing the rear wall from the outside trying to sneak in... Then security would chase them and tackle them, often into other fans. It was pretty crazy...

I was a litle disappointed at the show, but listening back to the discs, I think the playing was pretty solid. I think Wilson is relied on as an opener a little too often, but the CTB and Wedge made up for it. I really liked Mexican Cousin, the Piper was pretty nice with a kind of techno ambient jam, and Mountains in the Mist is always pretty. I was really glad my buddies got YEM at their first show, and they all seemed to have a great time.

Good show...I was on the lawn with a mass of throbbing human energy. I didn't think that there was anything special about the show, but I was entertained. They broke the trampolines out for a bit which was fun. What I remember most was the parking lot before the show. I was having a very in-depth discussion about Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead. Just at the pinnacle of the conversation, when the energy was the highest and we were most excited, my friend and I looked across the lot and there was a huge, vibrant rainbow just over a nearby hill. I got some serious chills!!
