September 2, 1983 was indeed the date. The highlight of the show for me was hearing the band rehearsing before they opened the gates. Of course, the show was awesome. My only complaint was that it was virtually the same show night after night. Also, that they stopped touring the next year. I also saw them in 1982 at the US Festival, with the last remnants of the expanded band line-up from the '80-'81 'Remain in Light' tour. It was the single best show I've ever seen.
