This was Phish's final show at the Front and the third time I saw them there. The Front had space for maybe 100 to 150 people or so to stand in front of the low-rise stage. The bar was to one side and booths and tables o the other. Languedoc set up the soundboard toward the rear. This was a killer show, with the Dude singing on Mike's Song, which I found annoying (at the time I was like "who's this freakin' guy?"). The sets were stellar. Great jamming with lots of 'climax' moments following increasingly twisted jam/melodic structure. This is Phish at their best, in my opinion, getting so intense that the floor felt like it was on fire in front of an intimate and rabidly intense crowd.
