This show was the very best I've ever seen. Despite Pete Townshend's claims that John Entwistle's hearing had affected his bass playing, "The Ox" was on fire all night long. I'm looking for a DVD of this show, so if anyonne has one, please let me know. I see where there are pro-shot DVDs of this show floating about, and I'd love to get one. Again, The Who were hot as a volcano that night. To date, it's been the only post-1982 tour The Who have done where Pete was the only guitarist on-stage. Zak was thunderous. They simply floored the not-quite-sold-out audience. Musicmaker.com was the tour's sponsor, but the tour got very little publicity until near the end of the tour. Daltery also was in fine form, and Pete played more lead guitar that night than I've ever heard. Great, great 2 1/2 gig.
