I was the taper of all three of these shows. The spoken word set by Michael and Radio was the highlight for me. It was at my all time favourite Vancouver bar, the Sugar Refinery, which sadly isn't there anymore. The set at Virgin Records was amazing as well. Some wicked beatboxing by Radio. The main set at the Commodore was great, too. It was cool to hear Karl Denson play with them, and the freestyle cipher was the highlight of the whole night. My favourite day of Spearhead from my favourite Spearhead era.
