| Notes: | Damn! This was so close to being a perfect recording; however, when The Bottle Rockets join Todd for the encore, you can hear some "popping" (non-digital) as if a guitar cord weren't plugged-in all the way. As the set progresses, the distortion gets more prominent and the vox over-modulate to add insult to amputation. The last track does have some digi-noise recorded on the original DAT. What do I recommend then? I think it's worth it -- check out the setlist! Will Kimbrough on vox for "Godsend" and a drunken, all-Lynyrd Skynyrd encore. The audio problems aren't until the encore, so do as the bands do during that set, drink-up and you'll never notice. | |||||
