Notes: Opening for Fishbone This is an exceptionally good recording for analog source. This recording surfaced Sept. 2002 and hasn't been circulating before. The reason for this: The taper told me he wasn't satisfied and it was not among his best masters and therefore hadn't traded it out. Considering it was for a collection, he didn't mind trading it to me. I guess that says more about his taping standard and proffesionalism, because it sounds amazing. There's a slight tape hiss, but listened to this with headphones and without needing to adjust/equalize anything!. Very well balanced and bass, guitar, drums and vocal very clear. Right before Prison sex kicks off, you can hear a plastic cup being dropped on the floor, then roll over and someone kicks it. Maybe not very interesting, but just to explain the clarity on this rec. The tape has a couple of tape flutters. Sound varies a bit (volume), but the master tape had this problem. As for Tool performance, they are really aggressive, intense and precise. This recording is definately one of my favourite early shows!

Ryan A. (4/5) cdr / 1 A- View   Aiwa CM-30 > Sony WM-D6 (ANA-M) > wav > speed fixed > cdr
Notes: This one was recently remastered from the original analogue master by Per S. to fix the speed, which ran slightly fast on the orignial recording. It sounded good before. It sounds great now, especially for being an analogue source. From the opening Intolerance, you are thrown into a dizzying locomotion of sound. Tool are -Really- driving it here; there's not much subtelty. Bottom and Flood are a must-hear.

Notes: Often traded as "06.09.1993" but its actually 6.11.93
Blake (4/0) CD-R / 1 View   Aiwa CM30 > Sony WM-D6 > Analog Master > Soundforge 6.0 > WAV > CDWave...
Notes: The older version ripped to cd in 2002 by the taper was a bit sped up. The taper's cassette deck had the speed issue so I borrowed his master and did a new transfer from my cassette deck. It was not very noticable on the old version, but there is actually quite a difference when I now have both to compare. Speed issue is now fixed and you may enjoy this recording in this new and more accurate version. Old sped up transfer: 47:41

NOTE: A slight tape flutter in the first couple of minutes of Intolerence is the only flaw with this recording.
