| Notes: | Artist: Tool Venue: Freedom Hall City: Louisville State: Kentucky Country: USA Date: October 18th, 2001 CDR(From Trade) > EAC > WAV > Traders Little Helper > FLAC(Level 6) > You **Notes: Hmm. Not a terrible recording but the sound is rather faint & brick-walls when put under any sort of stress from bass. So, this is best left for collector's. The recording is definitely listenable if you have the ear for it & want to really hear this show for some reason. It is not necessarily that bad. There is some clipping when the high or low end hits too hard so that is a factor as well. There just happen to be more gigs which have better sound but this is the only one I've ever come across. I'm sure there are more out there, time will tell. Actually, a trader managed to find this one... nice one Erik. There is a pretty cool part during Opiate where MJK whispers, 'think for yourself, question authority' over & over. Haven't heard that a lot...he does do the little whispered chant in Japan in 2002 though; very nice. **Maynardism: "Thank you very much for coming. Please travel safely on your way home, look out for each other. Get home safely. We have an assignment for you, we would like you to remember these feelings you are having tonight. Keep in mind this moment we've shared whether you've had a good experience, a bad experience or an indifferent experience, we want you to remember these feelings & in the coming weeks use these feelings to create something positive" **Notes & Maynardism taken from Collective Unconscious.org http://www.collectiveunconscious.org/ -Artwork Included- Artwork Created By BRUCE ALMIGHTY(fuck yeah!) I was at this show, and a great show it was from beginning to end. This may have been the only time Tool has ever played in Louisville. And there wasnt exactly a big turn out if memory serves me right. Not a packed house by any means, which I thought was surprising. On a weird note Maynard, about half way through the set, decided to strip down to his underwear. (wtf, did he do this at other concerts?) I kinda found that odd on his part, then again its Maynard so.... -Zoso Set List DISC 1: 1. The Grudge 2. (-) Ions/Stinkfist 3. 46 & 2 4. Parabola 5. Pushit 6. Schism 7. Disposition 8. | Notes: | Bad sounding show. If the brickwall doesn't turn you off enough, then the constant cracks and pops jutting through the music throughout, will. I don't what happened here. Hopefully tooldvn will release his recording sometime, because this sounds like another great October '01 show. | |||||
