| Notes: | Lineage: Low gen cassette (Maxell XLII) > *Technics RS-B965-M > Focusrite Saffire Pro 14 > Audacity 1.3 > Wav (24bit/96kHz) ----> Adjustments (32bit/96kHz) > Wav (16bit/44kHz) > CDWave (1.98) > FLAC *The Technics RS-B965-M is a modified deck - for details see the Tapeheads.net forum ***Neonknight's Notes*** It would be great if the second half of this show were to surface as the taper did a nice job with what must have been some very good recording equipment. I haven't seen a tape of this date with known lineage. With thanks to Kbrubaker who sent me this cassette along with many others to work on. ***Littlepieces' Mastering Notes*** This is a mono recording that was dubbed as two channel stereo as is often the case. Due to the previous transfers/dubs with less than perfect azimuth (head alignment), the recording has a phase shift that varies from 7-15 samples. I manually aligned the channels to improve the phasing. The speed of this recording varied between correct and within ~1% fast so I decided not to subject it to a resample. Other than removing some dead air between tracks, nothing else was done to this recording. This tape has the end of SoYCD pt6-9 that it is missing on some sources. | |||||

| Notes: | Want to hear the worst show on my list? Then get this show. Someone said, "Sounds like this was recorded over a telephone line." Thats a good comparison. First five songs of set I. | |||||

| Notes: | this is from my own tape as it was kindly sent me lately by a collector. the generation is unknown but sounds as to be low. To me it's better than the "Shone Like The Sun" RoIO, much less shrilling and totally raw. Speed was not correct, it did run a bit slow (music on tape is about 56m) so I speedcorrected it, although the speed is still not right to me. It's unfortunately missing the very last part of SOYCD 6-9 and also the whole second set that was never in general circulaion (and I have no idea if some genuine recording exists). -YGBC | |||||
