| Notes: | Mastering Notes: Recorder 1 was used as my primary source, except for SOYCD I-V and Us And Them due to Recorder 2 cutting in before; opting for that one in those cases. For Recorder 1, I did not get rid of either channel because as said previously by neonknight, although the left channel is stronger throughout this recording, both channels are contributing in the primary source. Also, for the Master DAT, I EQ'd this to roll off some low end and bring out more highs and panned this in the right channel, with the raw being panned to the left. Recorder 1 was EQ'd to bring the bass/low end out of this recording more as well as certain parts of the mids to compliment Recorder 2's mids and high ends. This source is also the louder one of the two in this matrix most of the time as it is more direct and clear in comparison to Recorder 2. For Recorder 2, both channels were EQ'd individually as it is stereo, both getting rid of some boxiness in the recorder at around the 400Hz range and bringing out more of the recording elsewhere in the lows, mids and highs. Furthermore, a de-click from RX8 was used as this was quite frequent in the higher frequencies. Finally for the mix, a maximiser was applied to stop clipping at points with loud fireworks (a given for a late June 1977 show!) Final Notes: Finally, I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone behind these recordings and this project, including but not limited to: Roscoe59 and Eric S. (The people behind the release of Recorder 2) neonknight (Transferring 2 of the 3 sources used for Recorder 1) stratcat58 (Providing one of the superior sources of Recorder 1 for the community) buffalofloyd (Providing the other superior source of Recorder 1 for the community) kbrubaker and Bert13 (Providing another one of the sources of Recorder 1 for the community) WorldmanOne (Creating the cover as well as helping sync the 8mm video) Atomicgamer400 (Providing ticket scans and helping sync the 8mm video) This is an incredible capture for the time era | |||||

Disc labels & tray artwork were created by me and front & back were created by Rayman Scott (RS) to whom I traded this source. I don't know the origin of the source I got from DR but I saw many silvers were sold on ebay using our artwork, so I believe those silvers were made from this source I traded. SQ is same as Animals in Cleveland. Last 2 encores are probably inverted. Comments from Digital Reproduction: Recorded live at Municipal Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio on June 25, 1977 (also the site of the most famous of all Led Zeppelin bootlegs "Destroyer"). This was recorded in my home town so it was with much enjoyment that I got this show. I had always heard alot about this show as it was a concert that my Aunt and Uncle had attended. That day was incredibly hot and humid as most summer days are in the Cleveland area. The stadium looked more like a trauma center than a concert arena. Either people were passing out from the heat and dehydration, or were not getting along with all the alcohol and drugs! Either way, the show is fantastic. One of the best sound shows from the Animals tour. The crowd is rowdy as usual for a US Floyd show with lots of idiots yelling "sit down". The Floyd seem in great spirits this evening and give one hell of a show to those lucky enough to have seen it. There is an incredibly long version of Pigs on this set that really is incredible. The first few seconds of Shine on are cut off just after the house warning to let go of the pig! Roger is getting quite angry about the people trying to mess with his pig and eventually tells the audience off. I would highly recommend this show to all Floyd fans! | Notes: | Pink Floyd: Live at Municipal Stadium Cleveland, Ohio 25Jun77 [46] Re-mastered by Danalog and re-released by Man of Leisure Music (MoLM) -- August '03 Sound Quality: EX- Sourced by Rudy Cruz. Artwork by John Gallagher. The very low generation source copy of the master tape ran a bit fast and had some high end hiss. Re-mastering included speed-correction, knocking out most of the hiss and pulling out a tad more bass. As he did with most 1977 concert tour dates, Roger shouts "forty-six" after the second verse of Pigs (3 different ones). The audience is pretty unruly, and this show has more than its fair share of "sit the @#$& down!" Oh well. MoLM had an earlier version that Danalog fixed up in 1999, but we recently traded for a much cleaner, very low generation source copy. Since the earlier version was never actively weeded out by MoLM, we are avoiding the 'revision 1' notation. MoLM makes every effort to provide collectors with the very best sounding versions we can find. As you will hear, this is no exception. Enjoy! Set one, disc one: 01.) Sheep 14:40 02.) Us And Them [6:45] Special thanks to: Lothy and Snsik. Comments: An excellent recording in need of a little speed correction and editting. Speed corrected using Audacity 1.2.3, removed SBEs, and FLAC'd. Then all WAV files run through Sound Forge 8.0, manually removed lots of pops/digiclicks, smoothed over some rough areas, smoothed transitions between songs, recut a couple songs for better playability, switched last two songs for show accuracy, cleared out SBEs in new files, and redid artwork to reflect new setlist. This isnt perfect, but a majority of the distracting pops and clicks were removed. No equalization or normalization was done to this show. More notes... -- This would have come out alot better if I had a "Sit Down" filter for Sound Forge. I swear people were yelling this thru the first two-thirds of the show. -- I split the announcements off the end of Pigs-3DO. Seemed like they would be more appropriate as a separate track than added to the end of the song. Track transitions that couldnt be done fairly evenly due to poor levels between tracks or other issues were done with short fades. I tried to avoid having tracks sounding like they were poorly patched together. -- Some songs had some weird level issues in them. I didnt mess with this or apply eq to them. I wanted to preserve the songs as much as possible and I wouldnt have had much luck with some of the areas. -- There are ALOT [and I mean ALOT] of tiny clicks throughout this show. It would have destroyed it to remove them all. I attacked them fairly aggressively when I started, but started ignoring them as I went along. The pops and cracks [and a few booms] were what I concentrated on since these really detracted from the listening experience. -- I didnt spend too much time messing with the announcement tracks. Since it was essentially talking, I didnt worry too much about them. -- Somewhere around 10:00-10:30 into Money, things got pretty ugly for the recording...not sure what the deal was...a huge stream of pops, clicks, and noise. I trimmed down most of it, but dont expect too much of an improvement. I also removed the taper's commentary at the end and terminated with a 2 sec fadeout because... -- Us and Them also seems to be suffering from possible taper hardware issues. Most of the instrumental intro is missing and was replaced by a screech. Removed screech, added 2 sec fadein, and left some crowd noise at the beginning so you dont miss anymore of the beginning of the song. -- Keep in mind this recording was far from perfect audio when I started. Some imperfections simply made it worse when I edited them, so they were left alone. In cases where pops were in a rapid sequence, I trimmed them down, but removal would have left "skips" in the flow of the song, so they werent completely removed. Please dont approach this expecting a pristine remaster, because thats not what this is. I probably could have spent months on this, but I doubt I have the mental strength to deal with the "Sit Down" crowd for that long. There is always room for another tweak here and there, but I think this is good enough at this point. Thanks to pinkfloyd77 for providing the previous version of this show to the masses. Very much appreciated! Enjoy! [Spectre] ** DO NOT ENCODE TO MP3 OR ANY OTHER LOSSLESS FORMAT ** FOR FREE TRADE ONLY - NOT FOR SALE | |||||

| Notes: | Info file says, "Re-mastered by Danalog and re-released by Man of Leisure Music (MoLM). Sourced by Rudy Cruz. The very low generation source copy of the master tape ran a bit fast and had some high end hiss. Re-mastering included speed-correction, knocking out the hiss and pulling out a bit more bass."
