Notes: According to Bob, sax player on "What's Going On?" and "Drug Party" is John Clegg, "a jazz/hipster dude who was on the periphery of the early H?sker days. He worked at the record shop with Greg in St. Paul, and used to (occasionally) come down and jam with us." (Paul Hilcoff)

Notes: Good Sound. Great set of blistering hardcore that veers into free jazz territory with a guest sax on "What's Goin On" and a great long version of "Drug Party".
Riley (3/5) CD-R / 0 A B+ View
Notes: Nice to hear some Zen Arcade stuff live. They cut basically all the early material out of their set after New Day Rising came out. It's funny because Hüsker Dü didn't go downhill like a lot of bands; they're early stuff is brilliant, up to Zen Arcade, and pretty much everything after is godawful, no downhill about it. They did redeem themselves with Warehouse, though.

Notes: 51:11 SBD which has seen some generations (cassette?) Not pristine, but definitely not bad either. The band does smoke this set, so I would recommend this show.
