Show Biz Kids - 7:05 Source: Analog audience master with Sony ECM-22P microphones >Revox A-77 Reel to Reel Lineage: Revox A-77 Reel to Reel >PCM Beta > DAT >Sound Card Delux Digital I/O card >Soundforge 6.0 >FLAC >decoded to .wav with Trader's Little Helper >pitch adjusted -45 cents and transitions smoothed with SoundForge 6.0 >CD Wave >FLAC Frontend (level 8, SBE OK) Notes from Bearpalm: This is an awesome performance. The recording captures the raw energy and emotion when Steely Dan played this small club. I got this tape directly from my friend Rob Bertrando who recorded this show with his set-up at JJ's. Notes on this set: This set was prepared from Bearpalm's audience master >PCM Beta >DAT >lossless audio production, which was discovered to run approximately 45 cents fast (sharp). Accordingly, FLAC files were decoded and all tracks combined into one .wav file, where the pitch was adjusted and a few transitions were smoothed. Other than the pitch adjustment, the most notable change is probably track timings, as tracks were split closest to where each new tune commenced.
