| Notes: | Generously donated by "licwidnel" of the Genesis Movement torrent site, this is a soundboard from the Defector tour. His notes state the following: ---------------------------------------------------------------- "i have recorded this from my original tape that a friend of mine sent me. he used to operate the house lights at the guild hall, so he used to have a reel to reel tape recorder, plugged into the sound board. i got quite a few good recordings from him. this tape has been burried in a box of old junk that i left with my aunt, she recently died, so after 15 years or so, ive got the box back and i had forgotten all about this." ---------------------------------------------------------------- The source sounds more like a clean audience than a true soundboard, but I believe him when he asserts that this definitely came out of a direct feed. While the source is exactly the same as that provided by lidwidnel, I took the liberty of making some transitions a bit smoother (fading things in/out, rather than abrupt "cut" sounds), and also put the soundcheck material at the front of disc one, rather than the end of disc two. Enjoy, and many thanks again to licwidnel for sharing his "box of old junk with us!!" by the way, the idiot with the air horn at the end of clocks and hercules unchained, is me. my friend didn't know, and the bugger faded me out. | |||||
