Notes: Unknown Analog 1/4 inch reel > Baked Reels > Unknown DAT (1996 by Westwood One) Sony 7040 DAT machine ( 16b 48hz AES) > HOSA Converter (SPDIF) > Tascam DR-680 (16b) Trade FLACs >WAV >Audacity (Re-Export WAV Files) >FLAC (Level 8) + Tags, Plus SBE Fix Via xACT 2.39 By OldNeumanntapr OldNeumanntapr Notes- Had a bit of a problem with these files from Scooter. Track 16 came to me as a WAV, while all the others were FLACs. When I tried to convert track 16 to FLAC it continually errored, no matter what I did. That track was a 165 megabyte file, but when I tried to play it in Toast it claimed that it ‘Was Not A Sound File’ or ‘Was Not A Supported File’. I ended up taking all the WAV files into Audacity, one at a time, and re-exporting them. Then I was able to convert to FLAC and retag the files. I also needed to fix the SBEs.
