Notes: Keith Emerson - keyboards Greg Lake - vocals, 6 & 12 string acoustic guitars, bass Recorded from Row 5, just left of center source info: SoundProfessionals SP-BMC-3 (mounted in croakies)>Edirol R-09HR(24bit/96khz) through mic input, low sensitivity>Peak Pro 5.2 for editing, tracking, and conversion to 16bit/44.1khz wav>FLAC (level 5) FLAC encoding with xACT 1.62 at Level 5 md5 checksum generated and verified using checkSum+ 1.5 for Mac Other than some slight tweaking of levels, this is the raw recording. I feel it needs some EQ'ing, but will leave that to someone else - feel free to remaster and upload, but as always, please don't distribute in lossy form. show notes: this was the 4th gig of the Keith Emerson & Greg Lake tour of the United States. Four of the early gigs were postponed, so this should have been the 8th gig; as for the performanceÉ. well, you can judge for yourself. We all know of Emerson's struggles with neural/motor problems in his right hand (4th & 5th fingers curl up, and he often just uses the other three fingers). On the other hand, Greg Lake sounded *unbelievably good* compared to all of the shows from the 1990's. His voice is deeper, yes, but the range is pretty good and his tone is full and focused. 1) ** "Tarkus" is splitted in seven tracks.
