| Notes: | After a long weekend, fellow taper Adam and I drove from Knoxville down to Athens, taking the scenic route thru the mountains and missing Atlanta. We got there early enough that I was able to set a tripod up in the corner of the room next to someone else that was going to be filming. I later met Chase, that filmer. Talked to Sloan Simpson for a bit, he set up a mic stand in the middle of the room, but took off before Isis played. Adam stood at the front right of the room with his mics. This ended up being one of the hottest, most miserable shows I've ever been to, but it was nice to see Isis in such an intimate setting on their 'farewell' tour. I think my mic source turned out surprisingly well despite the location. It helped that a good portion of the sold out crowd took off after The Melvins set. Show was a little over 80 minutes, burn a cd without the encore break (track 09) to get it all on one disc. | |||||
