Notes: LB-6351, (73min+55min), NTD; Source: Taper (cdr) > my source(cdr) > (dBpowerAMP set to compression level 6) flac, Taper: NET Taper D*, *This show was one of a number of 2001 shows my source received from NET Taper D. I have independent evidence, that NET Taper D did indeed tape this date, so I think it is a fair assumption that this recording is in fact, his. I do not not however have equipment information, though the taper is known to use Schoeps mics. It seems, likely that this recording is from the same master as LB-469, though the disk layout is not the same., In any case, I have not been able to do a comparison.; bittorrent download 08/08; in 4-way comparison on d1t2, these are different recordings based on different crowd at end of d1t2; csheb LB-442 is the warmest fullest sound, then this, then schoeps LB-469 and then hide LB-5496; (did not listen to all of this)
sean hite (5/0) LB-442 / 0 View
Notes: LB-442 CSHEB>D100, excellent sound, 3rd row row standing left back from hanging speaker tower pointing down at mics, sound comes from speaker tower and stage monitors; excellent sound, lots of bass, levels low except at end when it gets turned up; static on cd2t2 is from pa as stagehand adjusts some wires and then concert volume goes up especially bass as it became loud enough to rattle my bones, at beginning of these songs some mildly irritating laughter on cd1t3 and clapping on cd1t7, line input at 10, levels low, for cd/shn dat>delta dio 2496 > cooledit2000 > wav > constant amplification for each song > wav > shn, (each song was amplified at a constant individually to bring it up towards the max), (only 1 try was made at amplifying and some songs relative to others got a little too high (cd2t1) and some needed more (cd1t6), but many just get there by the end of the song) ( a version of this recording was torrented 4/05 as "unknown taper>cdr>EAC>WAV>FLAC" except it had very little above 15k while this recording is full spectrum)

Notes: A nice recording with loud, warm vocals. Great performance, especially that "Simple Twist of Fate." Bob did two encores and at one point I was blinded by his light show! "Summer Days" ends sort of abruptly.
