Notes: Widespread Panic 10/20/01 Dee Event Center, Ogden, UT Source: Audio Technica Shotgun > SBM-1 > D8 (@44.1 mhz) DAT Seed by Scott Sherwood Mastered and converted by Ted Rockwell Tascam DA-20 mkII > Roland UA-30 > Mac G3 > Peak TDM 2.53 > Toast 5 Setlist Courtesy of Everyday Companion http://www.everydaycompanion.com/setlists/20011020a.asp Notes: The levels at the start of set one get adjusted on and off through approx. 4:54 of the first track; this could probably be fixed further if it is worth some one's time. I have tried to quiet down the terrible feedback noises that occur during Chilly Water by applying a negative gain to those sections of 12 db (at 67:29 for 2 seconds and 70:20 for approx. 1/3 second). I think the first set sounds pretty good but the second set sound is particularly muddy in the low end. I think we may end up seeing a better source for this show turn up (although Scott says there were only three rigs running this night). ALSO - are we hearing the development of a new instrumental? - check out Track Five - probably not but took the liberty of tracking it anyway ;) Disc One: Set 1: 1. Surprise Valley > 2. Rock, 3.
