18 minute Gold & Silver is maybe the best version ever.
Nicky Hopkins finest hour with the band.

Notes: Excellent Mono Soundboard of Quicksilver with an early "Dino" before he completely ruined the band. "Gold and Silver" with a Dave Brubeck "Take Five" 5-4 Time Signature is fabulous with a jazzy Nicky Hopkins feel at 18 minutes. This is must have! My CD only has 4 tracks, however.

Notes: Gary Duncan is mixed too hot and the band is still working on the new material, but the 18 minute Gold & Silver makes it all worth it.

Notes: Grateful Dead Bust Benefit: Taken From 2 Sources: Source 1: Cleaner and sounded fuller but was missing Pride Of Man. The Tape was continuous where that song was missing. Source 2: Only "Pride Of Man" used from this Copy. Beginning cuts on all known copies and is usually after "Fresh Air" except on my other source, so I left it at the end. Interestingly, it is also continuous To "Mona" as on the other source after "Fresh Air"." Data DVD 2006-083 (DL)

Notes: This borders on unlistenable; either too much computer NR was utilized or someone caught this off a narrow webcast. Recommended if you want to get an idea of what the band sounded like in 1970... gurgling under on a capsized boat. Oh, and the speed is at least a semi-tone slow.
