Notes: DVD0053 Notes: Good audio quality. Info (from N.Pegg's The Complete david Bowie): Two of the few summer concerts in 2000 (Bowie's last engagements since his child was to be born soon). These are the two warm-up gigs on 16 and 19 of June at New York's Roseland Ballroom. The Band consisted of David Bowie (vocals, acoustic guitar, harmonica), ), Mark Plati (guitar, bass guitar), Gail Ann Dorsey (bass guitar), Earl Slick (lead guitar), Mike Garson (keyboards), Sterling Campbell (drums), Holly Palmer and Emm Gryner (backing vocals and percussion). The BowieNet members only show on the 19th June (which was free and exclusive to BN subscribers) also featured guests Dennis Davis joining the backing on percussion for two songs and Thomas Dolby (keyboard and vocals) for one. A third show on June 17 was called off at two hours' notice when Bowie found he was unable to sing, having contracted laryngitis. The Bowienet show was attended by Iman, Duncan, Susan Sarndon and various members of The Cure. The Band was joined for the encores by Thomas Dolby, and also in attendance was Bowie's veteran drummer Dennis Davis.
