Notes: D1 44:24 D2 40:51 Great setlist!! This is the only performance of Spasm. Too bad, that song is badass, especially with the touch Tool adds to it. This is the complete NON MP3 sourced recording. This show has been MP3'd to death, so be careful. This is also slightly more complete than the "Coachella 99" bootleg. This recording has all the banter intact, along with the intro (Ions) and Jerk Off isnt cut.

Jerk-Off Taper (arizona_bay AT hotmail.com) Notes: The only complete known footage of the show. Original audio is completely brickwalled, so its using the Catalyst X source as the over-dubbed audio source. The footage is hit or miss, visual quality is not as crisp as one might think, but that is due to the equipment used. There can be significant amounts of color bleeding and digital zoom used. Many people may have seen this already in some form or another. Not the best video, but its the best quality version you will find next to the master. But, still a great performance and set list cap off the night. Be repsonsible with this and all other recordings you find on torrent sites. Abuse of them will make future recordings unavailable. Go out of your way to head to ebay and report people who sell bootleg CD's & DVD's.

Notes: (Master) Pre-amp overloaded camera mics, distorted kick drum & bass at all times. Clear and nice vocals and guitar behind it though. Footage is hit or miss, decent medium & close shots of the everyone in the band. Digital zoom and color saturation degrade some clarity in lower light parts of the show. Great overall show!

Notes: A strange reunification of sorts for the band (after a year layoff from playing out), and even more strange setlist. Two cover songs in a little over an hour set, including one (Spasm - originally by Peach) that had not been played before, and never been played since. The band had it together for this gig though, considering the distance that was growing between them (particularly MJ and the rest of them). Good vibe, and the visuals were beginning to shape up and foretell what was to be become their spectacle for the '01 - '02 Lateralus tour.
Ryan A. (4/5) DVD / 1 B- View   Unknown > 1st gen vhs > dvd
Notes: Filmed from the right-center of stage in the pit. This source is incomplete - 60 mins of the performance was filmed. About 25 mins of the Rage performance was also filmed, including Maynard guesting on Know Your Enemy. The taper filmed from the pit, so the video is shaky, and the audio is atrocious - one channel only much of the time. I recommend the other source.
Ryan A. (4/5) dvd / 1 A- View   MiniDV > 1st gen vhs (synched with CSB>M1 audio) > dvd
Notes: Shot from the left of stage. This is definitely better than the alternate video. Lots of heads in the way as well as security ducks, but it's a clear picture, good color (though it is dark), and so nice to have it synched with Aaron's great audio. Complete with gratuititous shots of Maynard's naked ass all night. The more I listen to and watch this show, the more I like it. It's a unique and wonderful show.
