Notes: Professional broadcast recording and a unbelievable show. Some clicks on a few tracks, but they never get oppressive. My copy is apparently sourced from the "Chinese Wall" boot, which has 19 songs (fades out after Surfin Bird). I'll keep my eye out for a complete version, but until then, this show is fucking awesome.

Notes: RAMONES - 'Undisclosed Location, Long Island, NY, July 20th, 1982, perfect FM' Without certainly knowing them all, it is pretty safe to say that this probably is the best and most energetic live recording of the Ramones ever. To quote one of the 7" bootlegs (a fake Japanese one, in fact): "The Ramones are so punky - you just have to react!" I couldn't agree any more. The concert was originally broadcast (live?) on WLIR Radio (for which the band stressed to play "exclusively"). For the purpose of sharing, it was recorded by my humble self off the LP bootleg that I own and of which I am including an image. There is at least one other LP bootleg version of the show plus a bootleg CD by the name of "The Chinese Wall" (1991), that has a different tracklist (see below) and, what's much more more important, sounds comparably shitty. If anyone has the complete show in perfect (i.e. sounding like my recording ;-)) quality, please let me know, or better yet, share it! OK, here we go - Lineage: vinyl bootleg "In Concert New York 1982" - Technics SL1210-MK2/Ortofon Concorde system/stylus - Audiowerk 8 studio soundcard - Macintosh G4 - Adaptec Jam 2.62 - CD-R - Toast Titanium 6.1 - Macintosh G5 - xACT - FLAC The tracks: 01 Do You Remember Rock'N'Roll Radio? 02 Do You Wanna Dance* 03 Blitzkrieg Bop 04 This Business Is Killing Me 05 All Quiet At The Eastern Front 06 Gimme Gimme Shock Treatment 07 Rock 'N'Roll Highschool 08 I Wanna Be Sedated 09 Beat On The Brat 10 Needles And Pins 11 I'm Affected 12 Chinese Rocket 13 Rockaway Beach 14 Teenage Lobotomy 15 Surfin' Bird 16 We Want The Airwaves* 17 Tonight* 18 We're A Happy Family* Total playing time: 38:10 minutes Enjoy!!! --------------------------------------------------- For information purposes I am including the tracklist of the beforementioned "The Chinese Wall" CD bootleg (total playing time: 42:19 minutes) : 01 Do You Remember Rock'N'Roll Radio? 02 Blitzkrieg Bop 03 This Business Is Killing Me 04 All Quiet At The Eastern Front 05 Gimme Gimme Shock Treatment 06 Rock'N'Roll Highschool 07 I Wanna Be Sedated 08 Beat On The Brat 09 The KKK Took My Baby Away* 10 Commando* 11 Come On Now* 12 Suzy Is A Headbanger* 13 Let's Dance* 14 Needles And Pins 15 I'm Affected 16 Chinese Rocket 17 Rockaway Beach 18 Teenage Lobotomy 19 Surfin Bird * tracks marked with this are not included on the other (either CD or vinyl) version of the bootleg.

Notes: These notes are from source: Here's another one that I still have on my hard drive that I thought I would put up for all to enjoy. I did a search and was shocked to see that there wasn't anything from The Ramones. This is a really good show. While I won't agree with the guy who put this together saying that this is the best Ramones performance in the info file, it certainly is The Ramones at the top of their game. As usual, nothing has been changed from how I downloaded this. From the original info file: RAMONES - 'Undisclosed Location, Long Island, NY, July 20th, 1982, perfect FM' Without certainly knowing them all, it is pretty safe to say that this probably is the best and most energetic live recording of the Ramones ever. Notes: 1 aud cd. My copy is from the vinyl "In Concert NY 1982" and the tracklist is slightly different than db's listing. Cover Art included. Fuckin ELECTRIC show - i just wish sound quality was a little better. It's a SBD, but alot of hiss/noise/interference. I can live with it. This show ROCKS!

There were several songs played after "Surfin' Bird," and the weblink above will provide what was played. If anyone has an upgrade or a more full source, please post it, as this is all I have. ** As far as I can tell, none of these tracks have been commerically released. I could be wrong, and I apologize if I am. I did as much research as I could before I posted this. ** Joey mentions this is being recorded by WLIR, so based on that, I'm going with the likelihood that this is sourced from an FM broadcast.
