Grateful Dead
11-3-84
Berkeley Community Theater, Berkeley, CA
Source: SBD
Lineage: MC> DAT> CD> EAC> WAV> SHN> Peak> SHN
Disc 1
1. Alabama Getaway
2. Promised Land
3. Friend of the Devil
4. Down in the Bottom
5. It Must Have Been the Roses
6. The Music Never Stopped
7. Deal
Disc 2
1. Feel Like a Stranger
2. Cumberland Blues
3. Gloria
4. Why Don't We Do It in the Road
5. jam
6. drums
Disc 3
1. space
2. Uncle John's Band
3. Dear Mr. Fantasy
4. Throwin' Stones
5. Turn on Your Lovelight
(missing Brokedown Palace)
This is a re-seed of a flawed show. The previous seed had been burned in at least one generation as TAO with gaps between tracks, and those gaps were not completely removed. They are now. In addition, the show is retracked so that drums and space are split. There is no gap between them, so they can be reassembled if desired.
Known flaws:
Music Never Stopped is missing the first few notes
Why Don't We Do It in the Road is missing the first few notes
D3 has several digi-pops throughout; some have found it "unlistenable," so here's hoping a better one pops up somewhere.
Uncle John's Band has a "pfft" at about 9:50 and a splice at about 10:45, missing at least several seconds but probably not that much more.
Seeded by Peter Braverman (braverman@earthlink.net), March 2002.

After listening to this source and comparing it to the grateful dead vault master, I can't believe that this is even close to being a master. It must have multiple gens at best.
