I amplified D1 so it doesn't seem so filtered but its still noticable.
D2t5 Fades out Fixed (signs of cassette in lineage). D3t1 Fades in
fixed. D3t1 D/O @ 1:26 removed. D3t4 about 3 minutes of silence after

This show easily fits on two discs. Put Samson and SMR at the end of disc 1, and you're set. (One or both may need to be 80 mins).

lots of digi-zaps (see GDTRFB)

I put this soundboard into circulation on DAT in the latter months of 1993. The DAT came to me from my friend Danny H (a regular taper section inhabitant in the 80's and 90's on the East Coast, and an attorney). He received cassettes (made from the DAT master) from a person-who-shall-rename-nameless in GD management. He transferred them to DAT and gave me his master DAT to clone for myself.
The lineage would look something like this:
SBD DAT Master > Cassette (0) > DATx1 (my DAT)
I traded this often in the early 90's to great DAT traders and friends like Pete Ebel, Ananda Katz, Wayne Bonomo, Dick Bell, Rudy Jalio, and the whole DAT crew from that time period.
The entire MSG run from 1993 was ultimately acquired in this manner (two first sets had an extra cassette gen and were acquired later on). Some of them have been upgraded with SBD > DAT lineage, but of the ones that remain from the initial DATs in circulation, this one seemed to be the best sounding show.

yes, definitely a lot of digi-noise. See Baba O'Riley

Well, then, maybe its time I dragged out the DATx1 and did a new shn set for this show. There is no diginoise on my copy, although it remains to be seen as to whether an 11 year old DAT tape archived without any subsequent errors.
