My 17th show! Stood 50 feet from center stage at my first Nassau experience and came unglued while in mid-air. One of my favorite shows of all time, truly amazing from start to finish. After seeing Hampton '97 and NYE '97 this 1st set seemed like a show I had seen before for some reason but the second set is on a whole different level!!!!!!!!

If 4/2 is a Top 5 show, then so is this one. Great jam into Old Home Place out of Mike's, clear Crosseyed jam in Weekapaug. Amazing, lyrical solo by Trey in the Reba. And then the madness hits again with a 45 section of Roses > Jam > Piper > Jam. A kid named Tigger jumped on the stage at the end of Loving Cup, heightening the energy even more and leading right into probably the best all-around Antelope they ever played, complete with "Carini's Gonna Getcha", "darkness jam" with the arena lights off, start-stop reggae-ish jam in the Rye Rye Rocko part. Then an encore of Carini (of course) > Halley's > Tweezer Reprise (out of absolutely nowhere). Brain. Melted. One of the best nights of Phish hands down.

Set I

Mike's Song > My Old Home Place, Weekapaug Groove*, Train Song, Billy Breathes, Beauty of My Dreams, Dog Stole Things, Reba, My Soul

Set II

Roses are Free -> Piper, Loving Cup, Run Like an Antelope, E: Carini, Halley's Comet > Tweezer Reprise

Set III
