| Notes: | Glass Spider Concert Special These are the DIR radio discs used to air this concert on US radio. The first four tracks come from the Serious Moonlight Tour (1983). The remaining tracks are all from the Montreal Olympic Stadium show on the 30th August 1987. The discs are presented here in their original form including signal tests, commercials and trails. The sound quality is excellent. Lineage: DIR radio discs - eac - flac Disc One Ashes To Ashes (Montreal 1983) Space Oddity (Montreal 1983) Life On Mars (Montreal 1983) Golden Years (Montreal 1983) | |||||

| Notes: | Personal note: Although the period of the Tonight and Never Let Me Down albums and the following Glass Spider Tour which supported them these two albums are considered a low point in DB's career, some of the live material is excellent. I particularly like Big Brother, Time, Fame, All The Madmen and the rap-version of Up The Hill Backwards. Also the version of the song Never Let Me Down included in this set is IMHO a gem. So, here is a pristine quality recording of Bowie's "most-80-est-tour". Enjoy (as far as possible :-) )! | |||||
