| Notes: | FM. Sound is a little muffled, like it's from a 5-6 gen tape, if not more... | |||||

| Notes: | LDB Master Series #275 MARILLION Paris, Palais des Omnisports de Paris Bercy December 14, 1987 01.Intro: La Gazza Ladra / Slainte Mhath 02.Assassing 03.White Russian 04.Sugar Mice 05.Fugazi 06.Hotel Hobbies / Warm Wet Circles / That Time Of The Night 07.Misplaced Childhood (side 1) 08.The Last Straw 09.Incommunicado 10.Garden Party 11.Market Square Heroes / My Generation TT 98:16 Lineage: RTL FM broadcast > master tape > Aiwa Tape Deck AD-WX828 > Creative Audigy SE > HD > SoundForge 7.0 > CD Wave > FLAC Frontend (level 6) Mark Kelly - keyboards Pete Trewawas - bass Ian Mosley - drums Steve Rothery - guitars Fish - vocals Corinne Josias - backing vocals I already had a first generation from this broadcast but a few months ago I was in touch with the guy I traded it back in 1988 and he provided me with his master to digitalize. Unfortunately both his master and my copy had deteriorated since then and the sound is not that excellent, I would rate it as very good. Nevertheless, one of the best shows from the Clutching At Straws tour although no Incubus or Script were played. But indeed an incredible 'thriller' intro to Fugazi. This is one of the last gig of Marillion as a six-piece band featuring Corinne Josias as backing vocalist. Less than 12 months later, Fish abandoned ship and the end of an era for Marillion was there. French radio followed quite a lot the Fish era of Marillion, as they broadcasted no less than three tours plus the very first one with Steve Hogarth in 1989 (the latter being seeded in my Master Series already). This was the second visit to Paris during the same tour, as the band had played the Zenith earlier in July during the summer leg of the tour. Enjoy! ldb | |||||
