Comment

Sometime in October (or maybe September) of 1964, Mississippi John Hurt and Skip James stopped in for a quick session with DJ Phil Spira at WTBS in Cambridge, Massachusetts. They did three tunes each, bracketed by chat with the DJ.

They did three tunes each, bracketed by chat with the DJ. Track 14 mentions the presidential election on November 3 between President Johnson and Barry Goldwater, and it's my only clue at correctly dating this session. I haven't been able to find any hard information about it.
