Notes: Mine is the "Shakin' All Over" version, as indicated in set II. This copy doesn't have the four songs between Reelin' & Rockin' and Strawberry Jam # 1, but it does have a few live filler tracks at the end. Those aren't anything special and they don't sound as good as the rest of the tracks on here, but the jams that comprise the bulk of the disc are fun to listen to, and the sound is great. Nothing mandatory here, but it is nice to hear a band with such rigid setlists getting loose and playing around with some obscurities.

Notes: Disc 1: Rock and Roll/Celebration Day/Black Dog, Over The Hills and Far Away, Misty Mountain Hop/Since I've Been Loving You, No Quarter, The Song Remains the Same/The Rain Song. Disc 2: Dazed & Confused, Stairway to Heaven. Disc 3: Moby Dick, Heartbreaker/Whole Lotta Love, Communication Breakdown. Concert File Description: After a month's break, the first show of the second leg is something of a disaster. There are problems with the PA, sections of the audience are continually fighting and Robert's voice is shot. 'Over The Hills And Far Away' is described as... "a track off the first album that we legitimately found a title for!" Afterwards, Plant makes his first appeal to the crowd: "I'd really be obliged if you could cool all that! There's no need to be fighting. I'm sure there's plenty of fights to watch outside!" 'Misty Mountain Hop' is described as... "about what happens when there's too many fights!" and "The Song Remains The Same' is dedicated to people who don't fight! Robert comments: "I've never seen so many fights at a concert for a long, long time!" The distraction obviously affects the band's performance which is already sub-standard. After 'Stairway To Heaven', security staff wade into the crowd to attempt to break up the fighting. "There is some sensible reason why these people are doing this!" comments Plant. "I have never seen so much leeriness and violence, so cool it! Can you dig that?" A sole encore of 'Communication Breakdown' is rushed through with only a few Crunge references. Not a good start to the second leg. "Only the fans could mar Led Zeppelin's performance" is the headline in the Chicago Sun-Times. April Olzak reports: "Led Zeppelin is quite possibly the best rock group in the world. In a sell-out concert Friday night at the Chicago Stadium (18,000 occupied seats and another 18,000 sold for tonight), they dispelled every bad word ever written about them, came through soaringly over the rotten acoustics in the Stadium, and in general, overcame every conceivable obstacle that might have marred their music. Except the audience. "Robert Plant paused at the start of several number to remark, pleasantly enough, that he'd never seen so many fights at a concert, and, please, cool it. Zeppelin takes no glee in ringside chaos. Crowd antics to them are like asking George Shearing to play 'Melancholy Baby'."
