Notes: Way back in a time called "1996", if you went to a primitive "message board" and asked, "what is the best DMB show ever", you were mocked if you didn't answer 11.17.92. Why? Besides the 1st Granny ever, Dave liked it so much, he played the song twice. Really. It has a Great old-school Halloween, a real nice Typical, and what was once considered the greatest 'side' ever. Back in the analog tape days, Tape 2, Side A, generally started with the second Granny, and then ran through a nice IBYU, a solid Warehouse, a strong double shot of Boyd (Angel From Montgomery and True Reflections), and then to top off that side, you get the Paul Simon cover "Me and Julio" and a jammed out Two Step. Pretty nice. You get all that and a nice Blue Water Baboon Farm on top of it. Understand that 'greatest show ever' thingy yet? Just give it a listen. (antsmarching.org)

Notes: A classic early show. Opens with the first over Granny (unfortunately the hilarious Davespeak preceding it is missing), which skips a little. I'll Back You Up is next, just Dave & Peter, and let me say that Peter adds some beautiful piano to that song. One of the best IBYU's I've ever heard. Also has an early Halloween, and an unfortunately short Lie In Our Graves (under 4 minutes, no middle jam). Granny is played again to open the second set and once again skips a bit but not too much. Angel From Montgomery is incredible, the piano adds so much to that song as well. There's a great jam during Me & Julio, and the 2 Step Latin jam is sweet with some awesome Dave scatting. And Peter steals the night some more towards the end with a sweet harmonica solo to open So Much To Say. Definitely Peter's show here and definitely a classic.

Notes: I love the dave solos. As according to info I retrieved from dmbsourceinfo the end of True Reflections is cut off but it is really no big deal. Me & Julio down by the Schoolyard...great lil tune! For a 1992 recording there is some fuzz here and there but not bothersome at all. It is a fairly rare show so pick it up when we make a trade.
