Notes: OK Most of this is the tape marked above, but there are several patches in this taken from the version circulating as Crash Course in London. This is an alternate taper to that, but it is less complete. Whenever there was a long break between songs the taper stopped recording. The problem with doing that is you risk missing something, and he did exactly that with the intro to Sanitarium. This led me to patch in most of the edited spots from the Crash Course tape, a recording that is many generations and not the best sounding. These patches total about 4 minutes of the overall recording. Koondog says this is a 2nd gen tape. Nevertheless I believe this is a major upgrade to the version already circulating. Less overall noise and better tonal quality. From the collection of koondog a/k/a Rush-Fan 16 bit version Transferred & mastered by }{eywood

Notes: Secret gig as Damage Inc. and the live debut of Leper Messiah. This was also the only performance ever of Crash Course in Brain Surgery. Audio is decent, but has a constant hissing to it and there is some obstructions too. Mainly the security on stage blocking the view of the band.

Notes: Shot from far left of stage (parallel to the stage) - Jason's side. Some obstructions and a high-end tinny sound. But great to have this early vid.

Notes: MPEG-2 PAL Screen resolution: 720x576 Bitrate : 6.00Mbps. Generation: 2nd Upgade Pro menu and proper chapters. Audience shot form side of stage. Picture dark and grainy at times. Camera wobbly and there are lots of obstructions form the secruity guys. SOme of the zooming isn't very good as well, expically when the filmier does it in time to the drums. Bands power goes 3 times during the show. SOund low and has some hiss to it, also the audience is loud and there is a woman shrieking thorugh the show which does get annoying. There are a couple of cuts (seek and destroy and MOP). This isn't particulair a good dvd but the setlist is great and it is a secret show so its worth getting just for that but don't expect good filming or anything special. Anyhow, this video is shot very close to the band, problem is the band is heavily obstructed and it's not by the crowd...but instead by security standing right on stage with Metallica! I was kind of disappointed to see these idiots up there blocking the views, but that's OK. This is the first time that Leper Messiah was ever played, and it's caught here on video. This is probably the best quality 1987 video out there right now!
