Notes: Note: Fleetwood Mac was part of a triple bill listed as: The Flock, Fleetwood Mac, and The Grateful Dead on 1/30/70, and 1/31/70. The Grateful Dead played a bust fund benefit on 2/1/70 at The Warehouse as well (w/ Peter Green sitting in with them). Bear often taped the opening acts that played with the Grateful Dead, but this show seems to be from the night before the Grateful Dead played, as they are not listed as playing on 2/1/70. I have all three nights of Fleetwood Mac to torrent, and the dates, per Dick Latvala's cassettes are: 1/29-1/31/70. If someone can confirm that Fleetwood Mac did, in fact, play on 2/1/70 with the Grateful Dead, that would make the dates more likely to be 1/30/70-2/1/70. If there is no evidence of Fleetwood Mac playing on 2/1/70, the dates should remain as they were on Dick's cassettes, 1/29/70-1/31/70.

Notes: - Bonus Track - 112 - Jam with Fleetwood Mac & Eric Clapton (Feb. 5 1970 Boston, MA). From the Original Notes Regarding the Bonus Track: Announcer (at end): "That's Eric Clapton ... Peter Green ... Fleetwood Mac".I received this in a trade years ago. It is Fleetwood Mac from the Boston run of shows in February 1970 -- the tape said Feb. 5th, 1970. It is one jam song with Eric Clapton. This jam is NOT released on any of the Boston Tea Party releases, or any of the older releases of those concerts. Both Vol. 2 & Vol. 3 of the Tea Party releases contain a jam sequence, but they are NOT this jam. The officially released jams (one is with Joe Walsh) are uninteresting compared to this one between the guitar masters. It is a rare and a one-of-a-kind recording.

Stranger Blues Notes: Disc One January 30, 1970 Disc Two February 1, 1970 Maybe these dates are correct. But the Feb 1 show here has the same set list as the show that circulates as the 31st. That tape if the same is more complete with the addition of another track Tiger before Twist and Shout. That would have needed a 3rd disc to include on this piece. The Grateful Dead were busted on January 31. According to the Warehouse poster (included in inserts folder) the show dates were January 30 and January 31. The proceeds from another show with The Flock, Fleetwood Mac and The Grateful Dead on February 1 were donated to a bust fund according to one source. But the Fleetwood Mac site doesn't list a show on the Feb 1. Peter Green sat in with Dead at this show on Lovelight. It could have been that the 31st show was the benefit show which was just The Flock and Fleetwood Mac. According to the same source the Warehouse was surrounded by police all three nights, but that didn't stop some fearless and reckless insider from dispensing a large amount of LSD to the crowds on hand and, in the words of Rolling Stone, "the bands blew the lid off the house."
