Notes: Kiwi Express Genuine Masters CDR>WAV>Flac EAC for WAV conversion, flac front-end level 7 for flac conversion. Disk One: 01-Immigrant Song(Fade in)-Heartbreaker Disk Two: 01-Dazed and Confused(cut) This is a transfer from the CDR's that came with the DVD's. The CDR's are sourced from the DVD's, which were sourced from a 2nd Gen tape. Going to Auckland was apparently from 3rd Gen. This is a real strong upgrade. Clearer, brighter, less distortion. Excellent recording of an excellent show. I think that this is the best performance circulating from the tour. The actual DVD's do sound a bit better(better medium). --------------------------------------------------------------------- Disc 3 has been deleted as it's not part of the Auckland show. This was originally shared by Your Overlord on the old tracker over here (the above notes are his),

We hope that everyone who chooses to pick this up will enjoy this, and will pass it along, and will share it with others, or just pass, the choice is yours. This is not meant to be a "definitive" recording. Dedicated to Leo Ishac, who is apparently responsible for tracking down all the Australian/New Zealand recordings, so a big debt of thanks are owed to him. "

Notes: Fan-made remaster of 1st tape source. The raw recording we were working from was quite nice on it's own, there was a nice distribution of the instruments had hardly any tape hiss in the channels, but it did have a few issues that could use a little tweaking: - There was a bit of bass distortion in the channels. - The volume of the recording was amplified a touch too much, drowning out a few things in the recording, like crowd comments. - There were some instruments that were a little more up front then others (bass, and vocals are more present then guitar and drum fills) - The whole recording was running at the incorrect tape speed, the raw source was running about 3% fast.

Notes: This comes from the same tape (generation) that Tarantura and Genuine Masters have used for their releases "Going to Auckland" and "Kiwi Express". However, this tape was put out just prior to the Tarantura release. This tape has no type of noise reduction/EQ and is a straight transfer to CDR.
