PLEASE
READ!!

**I am in the process of putting all my shows onto DVD and
verifying the MD5's.? If there is a Refrence # for a show you want, include it
in the email so I know where to find the show.? Also, for all shows with a ref#
I have checked the md5's and flac fingerprints, so I will let you know if they
do NOT match what is in the etree database.**

It is possible that a
lot of these Flac fingerprints that do not match what is listed in the database
are shn>flac that are not recorded in the DB.

Everything listed here is
in lossless format, and that is all I expect in return for a trade.? I will not
accept audio, unless I directly specify BEFORE a trade.

If you are curious
about a show that I have not rated, let me know and I can listen to it for
you.

All media count numbers are based?on .shn or flac?files, and are on
700 MB discs.? If you are interested in audio for any reason, more discs may be
required.

No MD5's or FLAC fingerprints have been verified as of yet
unless specified in notes.? One of the many tasks to come with the future. I can
ALWAYS check for you, so if a trade is depending on MD5 verified files, just
ask!? I should probably know anyway.

I try to use Taiyo Yuden?discs, but
lately have been using TDK or Fuji(not TY). ?If we are trading, I just ask for
name brand, not store brand?or generics.? Please use bubble mailers and some
sort of sleeve for the discs.? I dont care if its the single or double sided
sleeve, as long as the disc is protected.? Please dont write on the disc or put
post-its directly to the disc.?

If you are sending discs to me for a
B&P, see the link to the upper left of here for good instructions.? Please
understand that I do my best to get B&P's out quickly, but I work full time,
have a wife and 2 small children.? Any special requests for B&P need to be
discussed BEFORE discs are sent out.? Please include with the mailer your email
address and a list of the shows you wanted, preferably a printout of the email
we exchange.

I maintain an FTP site, and anything on my list can be
added.?? If you would like a login, just ask!

Please respect the wishes of
every band and their taping/trading policy!

The
following statement is from Grateful Dead Productions:

The
Grateful Dead and our managing organizations have long encouraged the purely />non-commercial exchange of music taped at our concerts and those of our
individual
members. That a new medium of distribution has arisen - digital
audio files being traded
over the Internet - does not change our policy in
this regard. Our stipulations regarding
digital distribution are merely
extensions of those long-standing principles and they are
as follow:

  • No commercial gain may be sought by websites offering digital files
    of our music,
whether through advertising, exploiting databases compiled
    from their traffic, or any
    other means.
  • All participants in
such digital exchange acknowledge and respect the copyrights of
    the
performers, writers and publishers of the music.
  • This notice
should be clearly posted on all sites engaged in this activity. />
  • We reserve the ability to withdraw our sanction of non-commercial
    digital music should
circumstances arise that compromise our ability to
protect and steward the integrity of our work.

1 FLAC "The Clifford Ball Flatbed Jam" (excerpt) 13:39 ?mic > Sony D6 > Master DAT > Cass/1 > CDR > EAC > Soundforge 6.0 > FLAC Tape to cdr transfer done with an HHB 830-burnit stand alone burner. * Notes: This excerpt of the infamous Clifford Ball faltbed jam was taped on the fly by Guy Gimbrone (RIP) and Justin Clutter of Roscoe, IL. Microphones used are unknown at this time because when Guy made this tape for me we were not in the habit of listing sources. One must be warned that this is a mobile recording with Guy holding the microphones and Justin carrying the deck as they followed the flatbed, dodging cops on horseback and fans. The microphones did get bumped and you will hear it. The only edits I made were to raise the volume of the first 51 seconds where levels were set low and then lower the volume of the next 13 seconds where levels were high, the fade-in to begin existed on the source tape. The excerpt ends abruptly and I left it that way without a fade because that is where the flatbed started moving faster and in Guy and Justin's efforts to keep up, the microphones detached from the deck. This is all was that was taped by Guy and Justin. Enjoy! *

2 .shn This two CD set features a complete show from the 1977 Animals tour (aka 'In The Flesh' tour). It's notable for it's very good performance and the rare encore of 'Careful With That Axe, Eugene'. A song that hadn't been played for a few years at that time and has never ever been played since then. Too bad that encore is missing from this recording. D'oh!!

1 FLAC "Pre-FM CDR"> EAC Secure > FLAC source details: This show was performed at an excellent college for audio engineering (www.expression.edu)...it was recorded for future broadcast on SF radio station KFOG 104.5 FM. The live performance space, called Meyer Hall, is where the band set up, and the stage directly feeds the many recording consoles & studios throughout the school. The show was multi-tracked to digital Hi-8 tapes via a Neve VR recording console (juicy pre's!), as opposed to flowing through the front-of-house soundboard. The Hi-8's were later transferred to ProTools where the final mix for the radio broadcast was done. All multi-tracks and protools files were subsequently destroyed so the CD for radio broadcast was the best I could get my hands on, thus the necessary EAC step. The quality is simply amazing. Thanks to all involved. Source Detail
